What's New This Fall?

Afternoon Yoga with Deana Lee returns on Monday September 8th & Wednesday September 10th: Mondays & Wednesdays @ 2-3pm in our small studio. This gentle afternoon drop-in class is both invigorating & relaxing, designed for All Levels.

Prenatal Yoga - Our Prenatal programs resume the week of September 8th. The 6-week programs will take place on Monday evenings @ 6-7:15pm with Natalia, Tuesdays @ 7:30-9pm (New!) with Sara, & Wednesdays @ 1:15-2:30pm with Natalia. Go to Registered Programs for program & registration details.

*Sara Update! - Sara will begin her return to teaching in September with the Tuesday Evening Prenatal program. As part of her gradual return to regular classes, Sara will also reintroduce her "Mindful Flow" drop in class on a new day & time: Wednesdays @ 7:30-8:45pm starting September 10th. Welcome back Sara!

Kinder-Yoga - Cathryn Rowley will be running an 8-week Registered program for kindergarten-age kids (4-6 years old). The 8-week registration qualifies for the Child Fitness Amount tax credit. It will be held Wednesdays @ 5-5:50pm, September 17th - November 5th. Note: This class coincides with Vinyasa Yoga in the main studio so parents can get some yoga time too! Moms & Movers - We have had great response to Allison Oxoby's newest Registered program in her repertoire, for those babies who have outgrown Mom & Baby: active crawlers & tots up to age 3. This new Monday afternoon program, starting September 8th, is now full! Watch four website for a new session later in October.
& Of course the ever popular "Mom & Baby" is back too, starting the same week! The Tuesday program is full, but there are still spots available in the Thursday program.

Mom & Daughter Yoga (ages 13-16) - Join Maureen McGarry in this class designed for Moms & their teenage daughters ages 13-16. You will have fun & enhance your mother/daughter bond in this class. Tuesdays @ 6-7pm, 6-week program September 9th - October 14th; class size is limited to 5 "mother/daughter pairs" (for a total of 10). Register under Mother's name only please! Yoga for Beginners - Suzanne Fitzgerald returns with a 4-week program Wednesdays September 10th - October 1st @ 6-7pm. This class will teach you the basic ingredients of most postures found in beginner series classes. Each class builds upon the learnings of the previous class, ultimately achieving a basic practice experience on the final week. Go to Registered Programs for program & registration details.

Pilates - August 5th - 29th: we are running All Levels Drop In classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. As of September, the 9:15am Monday & Friday classes will continue as All Levels Drop In. Plus, due to many requests, we are also adding an evening Mat Pilates All Levels Drop In class on Thursdays @ 5:45-6:45pm! We highly recommend online sign-up for Pilates Drop In classes due to small class sizes.
* On Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, starting September 2nd, we are offering 8-week Registered "Intermediate/Advanced" Mat Pilates programs. Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 9:15am are now full, but there is still room on Wednesdays @ 9:15-10:15 & we've just added another class on Tuesday @ 10:30-11:30am. Beads of Intention - What is a Mala? A Mala is more than just a string of beads. Bring your mat to this unique workshop where you will learn all about Mala's, followed by creating your own unique Mala. Saturday September 20th @ 1-3pm; $45 +gst, includes mala-making supplies. Yoga 101 - After a summer break, Kevin reintroduces his highly-regarded monthly Yoga 101 workshop. This 2-hour workshop is perfect for people new to the practice of yoga as well as for more seasoned students who want to review the basics. Topics include basic asana and alignment, breathing and meditation techniques, history, and anatomy. Sunday September 21st @ 1:30-3:30pm; $45+gst (includes one free week of unlimited yoga).
